ARV Committees

ARV Committees oversee particular aspects of the association's operation and provide support to ARV's Board.

Externship Program Committee

Mission:  To oversee ARV Externship Program, which provides students with an opportunity to learn more about the rewards of rural veterinary practice through field experiences.

Finance Committee

Mission:  To provide oversight for the association's budget and financial policy. 

Fundraising Committee
Dave Horn, Chair
Mission:  To promote ARV to potential supporters and raise additional revenue to support our mission through corporate, foundation, and private solicitation.    

International Relations Committee

Mission:  To monitor developments in the profession throughout the world and distribute information to the membership. 

Membership Committee

Mission:  To develop and promote membership benefits and programs.

Mentoring Committee

Mission:  To oversee ARV's Mentorship Program that matches rural veterinarians with students, and promotes the rewards of rural practice through school visits.  

Website Committee

Mission:  To provide ARV with a robust presence on the World Wide Web and ensure online resources for our members and supporters.
